I Left The Army With My Life, But Also With Some PTSD.

PTSD

“My personal view on life is that each of us are living our own stories. From 2003 to 2006 I was in the army, and served in Baghdad from 2005 through 2006. I left the Army with my life, but also with some PTSD. As a result, I have a very limited memory. Therefore, I took to photography as a way to bookmark my memories and recall them. My dog, Nooks, is a PTSD service dog, and tags along most of the time. As a photographer, my goal is to try and capture unexpected moments in life and save them to look back on. As of now, this is a hobby that I’ve truly found to enjoy. I love the challenge of capturing moments, whether they are mine or yours, and sharing a piece of our stories.” – Joshua Jeppesen
